Help for a Needy Child This Holiday Season

The holiday (Christmas) season is one I really enjoy.  I love the decorations, the family dinners, the gift wrapping, the buying of gifts it is just a really great time for me; I have been blessed in being able to provide and making the holidays special for my family.
I know there are less fortunate families out there, and in keeping with the spirit of giving I would like to purchase a gift for a child.  If you are a military family or just a family who could use help with a gift for a child please drop me a line. 

Please let me know what the child needs the most (practical gifts for i.e. a coat, boardgames, toys etc).

Maybe you just need a small tree, decorations and or stockings, or you just need some food, let me know.
Obviously we have a short period of time so let's go!  Readers if you know if someone or can recommend a place for me to check out let me know as well. 

Hopefully I am able to do this annually, but I want to start with one child/one family this year and see where it goes.
